Welcome to The Montessori School, a place where generations of young minds have been nurtured since its founding in 1943. With a strong foundation rooted in quality education, our school has grown and evolved over the decades, standing as a beacon of quality education and holistic development in the city of Dehradun.
We at Montessori firmly believe that education must adapt to the changing times while retaining its core values, and this principle has driven my role as director at our school. Since assuming leadership, I have worked tirelessly to ensure that our students have access to a well-rounded education that combines the conventional approach to teaching with modern resources and amenities. We strive to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that respects the individuality of each child.
We have designed our classrooms and learning spaces to encourage critical thinking, allowing children to explore their interests within a structured and supportive setting. Beyond academics, we place great importance on cultivating values of empathy, respect, and community. Our school is dedicated to the holistic development of children, which includes emotional and social growth alongside intellectual achievement. The development of extracurricular programs has also been a priority in our school’s growth. Today, our students have a range of options to explore their talents and interests, from art and music to sports and drama. Our aim is to provide a balanced educational experience that addresses both the cognitive and emotional needs of our students.
